Bitcoin’s open-source ecosystem is built by people who started somewhere, including people who didn’t even begin as developers. This session explores how newcomers can find their way into open-source and Bitcoin Core development, from identifying the skills and projects where they can contribute to finding mentors, communities, and practical pathways into the ecosystem. Developers and ecosystem builders will share what the first steps really look like and how more people can go from curious about Bitcoin to actively helping build and maintain it.
