Bitcoin, Lightning, Nostr, ecash, AI agents, and WebXR. Two days with the devs shipping the future. Free passes for open source contributors.
About the Hub
We debuted the Open Source Hub at Bitcoin Amsterdam 2025 as a dedicated floor space where builders demo wallets, nodes, and tools side by side with the people who ship them.
In 2026, the hub grows with you through a dedicated workshop space for deeper sessions with bitcoiners, builders, and makers, plus a VR station with the VR Explorer and VR XR Wallet — conference-built experiences so you can walk the chain and transact in spatial XR, not just hear about it from the sidelines.
Two days of intense experimentation, testing, and interoperation. Talks and demos run right inside the hub, not off on a separate stage. Bring questions, not just ears.

On the Floor
Everything in the hub is hands-on. Install, configure, sign, and broadcast in the room.
Demo Device Table
The 2025 demo table returns with more gear — wallets, nodes, and tools you can run on the floor.

Open Source Badge
Open source contributors with merged work on an eligible project can apply for a free ticket. No promo code for that. Want the badge too? Add a €60 donation to Bitmaker. It is a working device you keep: share your npub and Lightning address on site, then generate a seed, check entropy, or mine bitcoin.
This year we are partnering with Bitmaker on a badge you keep. On site it shares your npub and Lightning address with nearby bitcoiners. Afterward you can generate a seed, check entropy, or mine bitcoin.
Your Whale Pass includes a limited number of these badges. Request your badge while supplies last.
