Treasury is Europe's first Bitcoin treasury with the intention to list on a primary exchange (Euronext Amsterdam). This acquisition deepens their commitment to the European Bitcoin community and helps secure Bitcoin Amsterdam's position as the region's flagship media and conference platform. Just enough for “spending money”. We don't recommend bringing large amounts of bitcoin with you to the event. Unfortunately, there can be bad actors whose sole purpose is to steal your hard-earned BTC. That said, everything will be Bitcoin enabled, so download your favorite Lightning wallet and top off with what you plan to use at the conference.

Bags of large sizes or luggage is not allowed on site for security reasons. There is no baggage check station available and we do not recommend bringing large bags or backpacks to the event. All bags will be checked by security before entering the venue and may slow down the entry process.

Yes, WiFi will be available, however, we recommend using your own private telecom network or a device with minimal private information for your safety when using shared Internet.

Bitcoin Amsterdam will have attendees of all ages. Please be mindful of those around you! Additionally, please be thoughtful of photography and use of cellphone cameras, as not everyone will want to be included in photos. If you're extremely interested in privacy, consider wearing a privacy mask. For professional crew shooting, a permit from the organizers is required.

You can upgrade your ticket within your own ‘my order’ environment.

When you arrive at Registration, you’ll scan your e-pass and receive an official conference wristband, which is required for entry and grants access to both days of the event. Attendees who Pre-Register will already have their wristbands, allowing them to head straight into the conference on Day 1 without waiting in line.

Exact Pre-Registration and Registration times will be announced closer to the conference—please check back here or watch your email for updates.

Your official pass will be issued as an e-pass (QR code), emailed to you 24 hours before the conference. Please present it on your phone (or bring a printed copy, if preferred) at Registration. 

After scanning your e-pass, you will receive an official conference wristband, which is required for entry and provides access to all conference activities on both days.

You can buy a pass with iDEAL, Bancontact, Payconiq, Visa, Mastercard, Mastro, American Express, or Paypal. Additionally, you can pay with Bitcoin (BTC) via OpenNode checkout to send funds from your Bitcoin On-chain or Lightning Network address.

As the all-inclusive VIP experience at Bitcoin Amsterdam, each Whale Pass is valid for one (1) individual entry to the Conference events (including Whale Night).

The GA is for anyone curious or passionate about Bitcoin! Experiences you may enjoy at Bitcoin Amsterdam include Bitcoin content available on multiple indoor stages, the Bitcoin Store, a dynamic expo hall, and the beloved Bitcoin Art Gallery!

Yes! Students can apply for a discounted ticket. 

To qualify, simply upload a valid student ID when filling out the application form (available through our Contact page). Once verified, you’ll receive a unique discount code that reduces your ticket price to 21 EUR in the shop.

Please remember to bring the same student ID with you to the conference, as you’ll need to show it at the entrance to confirm your eligibility.

Yes! Bitcoin Amsterdam is for all ages and we highly encourage young people to participate in Hyperbitcoinization. Children under the age of 12 can attend at no cost. Must be with parent during the whole event.

Yes, you are able to request a name change/update, bill statement or VAT invoice with the Paylogic Team directly from the ticket email confirmation sent to the email address used during registration.

Invoices can be generated in the “My Order” environment by selecting order details.

Please note access to join the event via the Bitcoin Conference App will be emailed to you closer to the event date.

Doors typically open at 8 a.m. each day, and wearing your wristband is essential throughout the conference.

Pick up your wristband at Registration, or better yet, during our Pre-Registration hours to seamlessly jump into the excitement.

The Bitcoin Conference’s core focus is exclusively centered around the first and original cryptocurrency, Bitcoin. No other coins or blockchains will be featured at Bitcoin Amsterdam.

You are able to pay for merchandise, food and beverages with credit card, debit card, or Bitcoin via the Lightning Network.

No outside food and beverage will be permitted. There will be several food and drink options available for purchase on site.

Yes, there will be alcohol on site for purchase. The legal age to be served in the Netherlands is age 18 and above. Know how to HODL your alcohol. If you get intoxicated and cause problems, security will kindly ask you to leave the premises.
